Match Report
St Andrew's College Boys-U16A vs  Pearson High School
On: Friday, 31 May 2019
Venue: at Home

College played good structured hockey throughout. Notably there was some excellent build up play from Bowker, Redfern and Macgregor which enabled us to enter the oppositions D on a regular basis. Our strikers were more clinically than against Cambridge getting a number short corners and shots on target from these D entries. We were unlucky not to score more often largely due to the Pearson goal keeper pulling off some excellent saves. We scored a goal from a short corner variation in which Pope was once again calm and finished clinically. Kayula and Holmes were disciplined in their defence and Boden in particular used his pace to tremendous effect in not allowing any attacks to take place down the left. Lane had an outstanding game in which he distributed fantastically and was very good on attack. College deservedly won 1-0 in what could have been a higher scoring game.
