Match Report
St Andrew's College Boys-U16A vs  Queen's College
On: Friday, 07 Jun 2019
Venue: Away

We travelled to Queenstown to play, which is always a tough assignment. It was one of those days in which we never really got into the game, from the warmup to the final whistle. Queens scored in the first five minutes and must be given credit for not allowing College to play the kind of hockey we have been playing during the season. There were some moments of excellence when it appeared as though we would kick into gear and play to potential. One of these was when Matt Pope threw a very good overhead to Dylan Marx in space who showed some excellent individual aerial skills and a great shot to score. Queens scored again with less than five minutes to go. College managed to get a few good opportunities to equalise thereafter, with a short corner as the hooter went too but were unable to capitalize and the final score was 1-2 to Queens.
