Match Report
St Andrew's College 1st XI vs  Hudson Park High School
On: Saturday, 09 Mar 2019
Venue: Away

A succession of basic errors in defence early in the match saw Hudson score a well-constructed goal which put the College side under pressure, and although the team regained some composure in attack and, a much improved organization in defence, they could not establish control of the game. The team created more chances and were awarded a number of penalty corners in the first half, but ill-discipline on defence and the failure to keep possession for lengthy stages negated the opportunity to put Hudson under pressure for long. The second half saw a similar pattern to the first, with the College side being frustrated by poor decision making on the ball and lacking composure in attack. The team was awarded a penalty stroke, which was saved by the Hudson keeper. A better performance than against Grey, but not deserving of a result. Final score 1-0 to Hudson Park.
