An excellent start to the match saw College composed and clinical on attack creating many chances without converting them. A penalty corner attempt the upright, followed by a controlled shot by Sebastian McIntoch which also hit the post. The College side dominated territory and possession to feel confident about winning the match, but realizing only by scoring were they going to achieve that. The talented Cambridge side took control at the start of the second half as the College side gave away possession too easily ona couple of occasions. This combined with some lose marking led to two well-taken goals by Cambridge. The College side regained control of the match as they exercised composure on the ball creating a number of chances. Unfortunately, coming close was not good enough, and the final result was a disappointing 2-0 loss, however the performance was very pleasing.
